Meet the Director
Ms. Jodi Thomas, an accomplished “coloratura soprano” voice & piano teacher, operates AirSong Studio for quality training of professionals, beginners, or any who just want to have fun with music.

Her professional career began early at the age of 14 singing and accompanying herself on piano at a Ramada Inn in Jefferson City, MO. At age 16 auditioned and was chosen to tour the U.S., Germany, Switzerland, Holland & Spain with “Continental Singers” of Anaheim, CA for 12-week tours the next two summers. Bachelor of Music degree at Baylor University began focused training in classical opera. She went on to study at the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria the summer before graduation. After graduation, studied with the Mississippi Opera Company and then to Rice University for Master of Music degree. Also studied with the Acadian Opera Society in Baton Rouge and later a master class under Gerard Souzay. At this time, winner of the Young Artist Award Competition with the Jefferson Performing Arts Society.
